For Doctors

At Flushing Imaging Center, we aim to provide excellent service for patients as well as for doctors. We believe in collaboration between doctors to take care of our community.

Reports

Reports are mailed and faxed back to referring doctors within three to four days unless we are notified that a case is stat. In that case, the report will be finished as soon as possible.

Now, we have a web service that allows doctors to check patient reports online.

Studies

Our new facility is equipped with cutting edge technology that provides all the exams that an imaging center can offer. Our referral sheets list the most common studies requested, but if there is any specific study that a patient needs, please give us a call.

Films

If you would like to see the films of a study, just make a note on your referral sheet. Otherwise, patients will be charged a small fee for a copy.

Precertification

Many insurance companies require certain exams to be precertified. Without a precertification number, we cannot do the exams. Also please note that many insurance companies also restrict the number of exams we are allowed to give a patient per day.
